Partnerships
For more than 125 years, St Mark’s has been reaching out to Mitcham to share Christ’s love to the local community.
We have recently been supported in staffing and finance by Holy Trinity Clapham (HTC) – and their Curate Ed, with a small group from HTC, moved to join St Mark’s in September 2024.
We’re grateful too for the support of Revitalise Trust and London City Mission.
St Mark’s has for many years supported other churches and charities, including:
St Anne’s Support and Care Centre, Stillfontein, South Africa
Local Schools
We are delighted to have close links, and regular groups, with St Mark’s Primary School, St Thomas Canterbury Primary School, and St Mark’s Academy.
Job Opportunities
-
This is an exciting opportunity to bring vision and oversight to our ministry with those aged 11-18 in Mitcham, both on Sundays and during the week. The role will offer an opportunity to build upon existing youth work and begin new ventures especially in partnership with the Chaplain at St Mark's CofE Academy.
We are looking for a committed and prayerful Christian leader with a passion for discipleship, a heart for young people and families, and a desire to see St Mark’s and the wider community of Mitcham grow in faith, love and hope in Jesus. The successful candidate will be prayerful and practical, with the confidence to take initiative in building new relationships and developing the ministry over the long term. They will be a warm, cheerful and collaborative team player who values the gifts of others while bringing their own God-given strengths to the life of St Mark’s and the growth of God’s Kingdom.
